Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for coming to us with your concern about possibly being pregnant.

As you well know, there is a risk for pregnancy when you have unprotected sexual intercourse.

Anonymous, was the vaginal bleeding that lasted only two days, spotting and pink to brownish in color, or was it moderate to heavy and red in color?

When was your last period? When should your period have started if you had not stopped taking your birth control pills?

I suggest taking a pregnancy test. The options include an early response test, which you can use as early as five days before your period is expected to start, wait at least one week after your expected period start date and test, or visit your gynecologist or women's health clinic and have a blood pregnancy test done.

Regards,
Maryann
