Guide

Hi Anonymous and thanks for bringing your concerns to EmpowHER.

If I am reading this correctly your last period was in early September and since then you have had one day of spotting on Nov 6. The spotting may indicate that your period is coming soon. The spotting may also indicate implantation bleeding which takes place shortly after the implantation of the fertilized egg into the lining of the uterus. Implantation and implantation bleeding usually happens about nine days after fertilization and ovulation, but can happen between 6-12 days after ovulation.

Your next step should be to take a pregnancy test to determine if you are pregnant. If you are not pregnant then you should schedule an appointment with your gynecologist to find out why you have essentially missed two periods and to get the help you need to get back on track.

Hope that helps,

Pam
