I want to be sure I have the facts right. Do you mean to say that you had a full period, then it stopped for 4 days, then started again for another 6 days? If so, that is very unusual, and you are losing too much blood. A normal period lasts anywhere from 4 to 7 days. If you have 2 in a row with only a 4 day break, that is very hard on the body.
You should see you doctor or call an advise nursing right away. They may suggest you take birth control pills to keep your periods regular. Also when you bleed a lot during a period you are prone to be anemic, so talk to your doctor about having your iron count checked in order to avoid anemia.
