Hello, and thank you for sharing your question with the community.  I'd love to give you some helpful information on the subject.

Since you are having what seems like a regular period, you should not take a pregnancy test until it finishes.  Plan B is very affective when taken within 24 hours of having unprotected sex, so it is not likely that you are pregnant since you are now having what is most likely is a period.

You should not start taking a new pack of birth control pills until after your period has ended.  This is because the pills contain hormones that prevent you from ovulation.  When you do not ovulated (or become pregnant) then the blood that would have been used for pregnancy is released through your vagina and we call that a period.  When you are on your period, you should be taking the sugar pills, or "fillers."
