Dear bmaraye90,

Thank you for visiting the EmpowHER community and for sharing your question.

Monthly contraception injections such as Cylofemina must be administered every 28 to 30 days (and must not exceed 33 days following the date of the previous injection). When the prescribed dosing schedule is followed, combined contraceptive injections are considered to have a failure rate of less than 1% each year.

bmaraye90 , if you do not follow the administering recommendations exactly, you will increase your risk of pregnancy.

If you got the last injection on Dec. 22nd, you should get your next one 28 days later. You might consider DepoProvera which is injected once every three months.
Did this help?
Best,
Kristin
