Pain during intercourse often happens when you are not fully aroused.  The vagina is not necessarily aroused by simple penetration.  It is delicate and when not handled properly it can hurt just like anything else in the body.

You do not have a medical condition.  It is a very common for women to feel pain during intercourse simply because their vagina's do not get as aroused as their clitoris.  If your partner penetrates but your clitoris is not being stimulated, then you can feel pain because you're not being properly aroused.

Men have one optimal point of pleasure which is an erection. Women are different.  Women respond to touch, and this can be different for each woman.  My point is, penetration is not an automatic source of pleasure for women as it is for men.  Therefore, you must find out what works best for you, and what you like.  Once you do this, problems of pain during intercourse go away.
