Ciprofloxacin and cefixime are antibiotics prescribed to treat a urinary tract infection.
How long are you instructed to take the pills? 10 days or 14 days?
I suggest you contact your physician and report that after five days you are not getting any relief. It is possible that these two antibiotics are ineffective in treating the strain of bacteria that is causing the infection.
