I did meet with her. And as you had predicted, it was due to the fact that I had missed the 4 days earlier in January and thus, she has given me progestogen-only pills to help with the spotting/breakthrough bleeding I am guessing. I have been having bleeding akin to early stages of periods since Sunday. A mix of blood plus brown discharge but nothing heavy. I would prefer to avoid taking the progestogen if I can and she had said to wait it out the next two days (since my period cycle is only 4 days naturally) and see what happens. I was reading somewhere that taking 1000mg of Vitamin C can also help regulate and help overcome the breakthrough bleeding? Do you think it is a good idea to take it along with birth control pills? At this point, I am willing to try anything to stop this breakthrough bleeding - I am feeling weak and its an annoyance, to be honest.
