Welcome to the EmpowHER community. I can appreciate your concern. Have you consulted your gynecologist or a dermatologist about this?
Here is a theory, could your body be having after effects of MonoNessa, a combination birth control pill? This is based on information that I found, but please speak with your own doctor.
Fact 1: The folks at GoAskAlice state, "Hair and skin oiliness depends on a number of factors; an oily substance known as sebum is a primary cause. Sebum is produced by sebaceous glands located at the base of each hair shaft in the skin, including the scalp. Male hormones called androgens manage the production of sebum. For people with oily hair and/or skin, sebaceous glands are working overtime and/or are in greater numbers, producing an excess of sebum."
Fact 2: According to howstuffworks, "Hormonal birth control does affect androgen levels in the body... It's possible that androgen levels could just get out of whack and increase sebum production."
Please get back to us once you have talked with your doctor.
