First of all, I'd like to put your mind at ease. You do not have herpes, or another STD of some kind. Since it is only one sore with no scab and no discharge it is most likely an ingrown hair.
Ingrown hairs can often look exactly like a boil or even a wart. Since you only have one the treatment is simple. Do not pop with a needle or squeeze. These actions can cause further irritation or even infection.
What you need to do is soak the area in warm or hot water. Over time it will drain and heal.
