Hello and thank you for sharing your question.

Yeast infections do not cause strong vaginal odors.  If you have an odor cause by an infection it would be a bacterial infection.

However, a bad vaginal oder can also be caused by something as simple as drinking alcohol, or not cleaning properly.  Infection isn't necessarily the cause.
