I had an ankle arthrodesis due to degenerative Arthritis at the age of 26, I am now 29 and everyday i wish i never had it done since then I have had 5 surgeries of which the 3rd was from a non union and all the others are from metal removal as my foot wasn't responding well to the screws (metal allergy). I'm currently dealing with the pain of malformation and can't be operated on due to a condition called complex regional pain syndrome due to too many surgeries, I'd be comforted to know if anyone my age has the same issue and how they get on with everday life.
