You know when you first start the pill pharmacist and doctors tells you to use a backup method for 7days and after that you are protected.i took EC because I had sex on the first pill of the 7th pack of pills. I did not miss any pill on the previous pack. I took EC because I wasn't sue if I was protected or if need a seven day wait or is it just on the beginning of the pack I'm confused.

Hi Susan,
I'm sorry for making it diffcult to understand is that I'm sorry worried. Lethe tell you. So I been on BC since September never missed a pill in all my BC packs I'm in my 7th pack since Sunday. I took my pill at 8am and seen my bf at 1pm we had had sex he did used a condom but he ended up taking it off. When he came out he dropped sperm outside my leg and on the blanket. I got scared and took EC that same same at night thought another reason why I took EC is because it was the first pill of the first week of the 7th pack and it says to use an alternative contraception for 7 days. I usually wait after the seven days that's why I'm scared. Did I do ok by taking the EC, even though i haven't missed any pills not even placebo pills?
