I am currently taking diane35. I finished my first 1pack and then started to take the 2nd pack. I forgot that i need to have a 7day free pill day, so i begin taking the pills of the 2nd pack. What should i do now?
I had scanty amount of mens just this morning.

Hello, Anon.

How many pills have you taken? Your doctor may tell you to stop and finish the break as prescribed if you have only just started. Check with your doctor or pharmacist.

For Ms. Maryann Gromisch RN.

I just started taking the pill for a month and finished 1 pack tonight. My question is, if for example, during the 7 days I am not taking the pill and let say I had my mens on the 4th day, should I start drinking new pack on that moment or do I have to finish the 7 days rest? Because I have this friend that her gyne advised her to drink it every first day of mens which means she did not even finish 7 days off without the pill.

And one more thing, am I also protected during those 7days without the pill?
Will be waiting for your response.

Hello Anonymous,

I suggest you wait until the end of the week. If you do not have any withdrawal bleeding, take a pregnancy test in the morning and call your gynecologist.

Hello Anonymous,

You will be protected as long as you have taken an active pill at the same time each day.
