Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for reaching out to us for advice.

Have you been examined by your gynecologist during the three years that you have not had a period?

Generally, a woman has reached menopause when she has gone 12 consecutive months without a period. Most women reach menopause when they are in their 50s.

If you are younger, then some hormonal imbalance has caused you to not have a period. I agree with your boyfriend. Schedule an appointment with your gynecologist. Please keep us updated.

Regards,
Maryann
