Outside of using emergency contraception, there are some common reasons why a woman may experience brown discharge. Some of which are ovulation, menopause, endometrial bleeding, pregnancy, etc.
With the use of the emergency contraception (Plan B), an abnormal menstrual cycle (including spotting) is one of the side effects.
Is the discharge light brown or a darker brown? Do you have any other symptoms? Like strong unpleasant odor, itching, burning or pain during sexual intercourse.
Also, how often do you use the Plan B pill? Frequent use can cause your menstrual cycle to be irregular and unpredictable.
Rather than wait until the end of the week, get a home pregnancy test today and call your doctor. Maybe you will be able to get an appointment sooner rather than later to get things checked out.
