There is a possibility of pregnancy even after having a tubal ligation depending on surgery method. During one kind of surgery, the fallopian tubes are damaged. When they heal the scar tissue seals the tubes. In some cases however, the tubes do not seal completely allowing the egg to travel to the uterus. If this is the case, a pregnancy test may be negative because it is too soon to get a correct result.
That is one possibility. The other possibility is that you can experience a ectopic pregnancy where pregnancy occurs outside of the uterus, usually in the fallopian tube because the egg could not travel to the uterus. Thus, it would make sense that the pregnancy test would be negative. This may be the reason for your pain. If this is the case, treatment is require as soon as possible!
The third possibility is that your period is late because of hormonal imbalances and perhaps the pain in intestinal and unrelated to your menstruation.
I suggest that if the pain and other symptoms get worse, you really should see a doctor, or at least visit Planned Parenthood because it could be very serious.
