Based on the information provided here, I would like to share my issue and now my theory; I have small bunions on each foot at the baby toe. As mentioned that causes can be additional pressure in big toe bunions, I think mine then are caused by how I walk.
I walk on the outside of my feet, (all my life) as my shoes show as well as my chiropractor showed me. It then makes sense that I have been putting additional pressure on my baby toe side. I have been trying to walk in the middle when I think of it and do hope that will make a difference. I am 63 years old, in great shape and health and pretty active (golfed for 25 years, walking and carrying my clubs on my back) so it is important for me not to have to stop doing things because of my feet. Thank you for sharing!
