It would have been better to take Wednesday's missed dose on Thursday morning. But, if you didn't realize until Thursday evening, I understand and you did the right thing by taking two pills.
You should be okay because you missed only one dose. You would have been safer if your partner used a condom.
You will know if you became pregnant if you do not have vaginal bleeding during the week of inactive pills. Should this happen, take a pregnancy test before starting a new pack.
