Ampiclox is an antibiotic. Is that indeed the drug you took thinking it was an emergency contraceptive?
There was no need to take an emergency contraceptive because you would not have been ovulating two days after your period ended. There needs to be a released mature egg to be fertilized for conception to happen.
Postinor 2 works by preventing ovulation. Taking the pill unnecessarily upset the normal hormonal balance that regulates the menstrual cycle. If you do not have any vaginal bleeding within three weeks of taking the pill, contact your doctor.
Pregnancy is not the concern, a hormonal imbalance is.
