Q:

Why am I sore after dry humping?

A few days ago my boyfriend and I were dry humping. I was on top of him and ended up feeling really sore after. I don't have any bleeding or an infection or anything like that. In fact, the pain feels less like it's coming from my vagina and more like the surrounding muscles connecting to my upper leg. It hurts when I sit down, but otherwise it's fine. I also notice that it doesn't really hurt when I wake up in the morning, but does after a whole day of sitting at work.

Did I likely pull a muscle or something? I don't usually move in that way on top of my boyfriend. I just wanted to make sure it's not something to be worried about.

Last week I was dry humping my boyfriend (I was on top of him) and I was humping much harder and longer than usual. I noticed I was in a lot of pain after, which was unusual. I think it's possible I might have bumped up against his belt even ;/ I've been very sore, but it's gotten quite a bit better. I haven't been bleeding, there's no infection, and during a vaginal exam there were no visible problems. However, I have two questions:

1) The pain is alarming to me because I've never experienced pain from physicality (I'm still a virgin too). Is this just what happens when you strain a muscle or do I have any cause to be really concerned that there might be something more serious (i.e. from bumping against his belt)? Could I have really hurt myself from dry humping?

2) The past two days I actually wasn't that sore at all. However, when I started to feel aroused while kissing my boyfriend, the muscles in my vaginal area started to feel a little tense/sore. Is there any cause for concern? Or is that just because they flex when I'm aroused and they're not fully healed?
