Guide

Hello and thank you for sharing your question.
I'm sorry to hear about this awful experience, and would love to give you advice on the matter.
The last week of the birth control pills do not have hormones. They are basically filler pills which allow you to stay on schedule. During that last week of pills, is when you should have your period.
The reason why you period and hormones are so irregular is because you did not allow your body to have your period during that last week of pills. You continued taking hormone pills straight through. This threw off your hormonal balance and causes the problems you are experiencing.
At this point, your body/hormones are confused. You do not have any permanent damage or something dangerously wrong. You need to wait, and keep taking the birth control correctly and consistently. If you do this, your period will return to normal over the next few cycles.
