Q:

I have a rice grain sized lump in my breast and have soft movable lumps in my underarms. Are the two related?

I have had the lumps under my arms for a couple of years. Multiple doctors have checked it out and all agreed it was nothing to be concerned with and advised me to leave it in place. When I get pms it starts to feel uncomfortable. I just recently found the rice grain sized lump in my breast which I went to see my gyn for and I am getting a mammogram and ultrasound for next week. I am also getting over a cold in which I had a fever. I am not sure if it is a coincidence but the lumps under my arms have a dull ache now. Is this related to the lump in my breast or is it related to my having a cold? The mammogram never extends to my underarm. How can I confirm it is not cancer in my lymph? Just trust the doctors? Go through painful removal which I heard takes a long time to heal and more than likely will come back?
Thanks
