I do not think you should take an emergency contraceptive because you are currently taking birth control pills. You had been taking three weeks of active pills by the time you had intercourse and the condom broke. You did the correct thing by making up for the missed doses.
Birth control pills prevent pregnancy by preventing ovulation. This happens because of hormone levels kept at a constant level with a daily active pill. I think taking an emergency contraceptive will cause a serious imbalance, essentially an overdose, in synthetic hormone levels.
