Its good that she is going to the doctor. But if she is only going to the ER, she needs to follow up with a gynecologist or even regular doctor.
She could have a number if issues going on. She definitely needs to get a pap smear, pelvic exam, and even an ultrasound can show any abnormalities in her ovaries or uterus.
