Welcome to the EmpowHER community. You need to speak with your gynecologist today.
When you first started taking birth control pills, were you prescribed a type to prevent or limit the number of periods? If not, is your gynecologist aware of your history of limited periods per year?
Bleeding for three weeks is abnormal. I can only surmise a serious hormonal imbalance is the cause. But, your gynecologist knows your medical history and the particular oral contraceptive prescribed.
