I have been suffering with a constant itchy right arm which now keeps me awake at night for at least 18 months. After an appointment with a dermatologist I was diagnosed with BRP especially after discussing prior issues with trauma to my neck from a car accident and suffering pins and needles down my right arm. I have tried all the usual medications such as gabapentin, capsicum cream and lots of others, amatriptalyn and nothing seems to help except ice packs. I have tried chiropractic treatment, physiotherapy and I am now desperate for any help or advice and what will help me. It makes me very despondent when I rad that some people have been suffering for many years with this same problem.

I, too have suffered from this frustrating condition for many years. It usually occurs in the fall, for me, as that is when I come off the beach! The only thing that has helped me is that once it starts, I go to my dermatologist and he gives me a shot of cortisone. That is the only thing that helps me! Good luck to you!
