Nerve pain presents as a tingling, burning or pins and needle sensation. Nerve pain is caused by damage to the nerve.

Nerve pain in idiopathic peripheral neuropathy is usually in the feet and legs but can also be in the hands and arms. People describe their unexplained nerve pain in different ways, such as burning, tingling, pins and needles, crawling and electric shocks.

Anonymous, in your case, the degenerative changes in your spine due to a fall may have caused nerve compression and damage. But, only your physician with the add of your medical history and ability to do a physical exam, knows for sure.

Regards,
Maryann
