Since you are sexually active, regardless if you have not had vaginal intercourse, you need to start using some type of birth control now. Consider oral contraceptives, an IUD or the Depo-Provera injection.
Any time there is potential contact with semen and the vagina, regardless of how it gets there, there is a risk for pregnancy.
