In ordinary cases of constipation, that is not a digestive disease case, these remedies are helpful.
However, I would like to add a warning regarding the oral use of Epsom salt.

Epsom salt, which is magnesium sulfate, should only be used occasionally and never at a higher dose than recommended on the package or by your physician. In high doses it can cause serious life-threatening side effects and can interact with certain medications, particularly antibiotics.
