Guide

Hello Roisin,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for reaching out to us for advice.

You need to be examined by a gynecologist. It is apparent that you are not pregnant if you have been having what sounds like prolonged vaginal bleeding (" 6 periods in 5 weeks").

Where do you live? Can't you make an appointment to be seen? Are you calling a doctor's office or clinic? Do they schedule on a first come first serve basis and only do this one day at a time?

Anonymous, prolonged bleeding will lead to significant blood loss and iron deficiency anemia. This persistent stomach pain must be evaluated.

If necessary, can you go to a walk-in urgent care center or the local hospital which may have a clinic?

Regards,
Maryann
