Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for reaching out to our community for suggestions on how to increase your conception rate.

Since you have consulted your physician, I can assume there is no infertility issues.

1) Ovulation is the best time to become pregnant. Understanding your menstrual cycle and determining when you ovulate allows you to focus on your fertile window which is five days before and on the day of ovulation.

2)Having sex every day even during ovulation will not necessarily increase your chances of getting pregnant. In general, every other night around the time of ovulation helps increase your chance of getting pregnant.

3)Reducing stress levels can help increase your chances. Maintain a healthy lifestyle of moderate daily exercise and healthy diet. Too much exercise can cause you not to ovulate.

4) Optimize your partner's sperm: reduce alcohol intake, eliminate smoking and any recreational drugs, avoid hot tubs or saunas, and get enough zinc, folic acid, calcium, and vitamins C and D.

Good Luck,
Maryann
