Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for coming to us with your concern of a possible pregnancy despite negative pregnancy test results.

Testing once your period was late by six days would have been accurate if you used an early response pregnancy test. Testing on the 10 and 12 of November was fine as long as you followed the directions carefully and used the first urine of the day, which is concentrated and gives the most accurate result.

I am skeptical if you would have conceived during unprotected intercourse only one day after you finished your period. That was much too early for ovulation, which happens about 14 days after the last day of your period.

I am glad that you have an appointment to see your doctor, even though you have to wait another 10 days. Try not to worry because stressing over this will only cause a further delay if indeed you are not pregnant.

Please keep us updated.
