Guide (reply to Hernmon19)

Hello Hernmon19,

He has the virus and can pass it on to you.

According to the CDC, "You can get HPV by having vaginal, anal, or oral sex with someone who has the virus. It is most commonly spread during vaginal or anal sex. HPV can be passed even when an infected person has no signs or symptoms."

Citing Harvard Health Publications, "Sexual contact, including oral sex and deep kissing, can transmit HPV from one person to another. The likelihood of contracting oral HPV is directly associated with number of sexual partners a person has had."

Regards,
Maryann
