If you have been on the pill for two months and haven't missed any, then the pill should be effective in preventing pregnancy.
The spotting and change in the characteristics of your discharge is normal as your body is still adjusting to the hormones in the birth control pills. They say your menstrual can be irregular up to 4 months.
Since you are already on birth control pills, taking an emergencey contraceptive pill is really going to wreak havoc on your system. So be careful.
