It is not neccesarily abnormal for a woman who is not pregnant or breast feeding to experience breast discharge, but it's something you should not ignore.It could be a result of menstrual hormone changes. But it could be something more serious.
Here a re a few possible causes of breast discharge are:
Abscess
Breast Infection
Fibroadenoma - a solid, benign mass most common in young women
There are more serious conditions like breast cancer, so you want to get things checked out.
