Since it is so common to have horrid cramping during teenage years, many doctors suggest taking birth control to reduce cramping and regulate the hormones. I suggest you see a gynecologist to find more solutions to decrease the pain.
If you cannot see a gynecologist you may want to try taking over-the-counter pain medication such as Advil before the cramps begin. Sometimes it can prevent pain better if caught before they become too painful.
