Q:

Is melatonin o.k. to take on a regular basis? I've been told by a psychiatrist, yes and by a neurologist, no.

I needed to take my Dad for a re-evaluation and asked both Dr.'s the same question. The psychiatrist says he takes it all the time. The neurologist said no, because if taken regularly, our brains stop producing it. I'm guessing the amount of miligms. could make a difference in how often?
