Do you have a septate hymen? A septate hymen is when the thin hymenal membrane has a band of extra tissue in the middle that causes two small vaginal openings instead of one. Teens with a septate hymen may have trouble getting a tampon in or trouble getting a tampon out. The treatment for a septate hymen is minor surgery to remove the extra band of tissue and create a normal sized vaginal opening.
Though you are certain this is not where the site of bleeding, I do wonder if your boyfriend's manipulation ruptured a capillary or small blood vessel in the area.
Implantation bleeding is spotting that occurs about six to 12 days following conception. I don't this is what you experienced.
Bleeding after sex can indicate an issue with your cervix. The cells may be sensitive or inflamed for some reason, such as an HPV infection or the beginning of cervical cancer.
