Emergency contraception will be affective when taken correctly. Bleeding a few days later is a normal side effect of the drug and it can also disrupt your regular cycle. Usually your period will return to normal after a few months.
You are most likely not pregnant since you took the EC on time. However, if you have any severe PMS-like symptoms you need to see a gynecologist.
