Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. I am glad you reached out to our community with your concern if you could have become pregnant.

The answer depends on when in your menstrual cycle this happened. A woman is most likely to become pregnant when she has unprotected intercourse during ovulation or her fertile time. Most women ovulate between day 11 and day 21 of their menstrual cycle. Your high risk days are five days before and on the day of ovulation.

The highest risk for becoming pregnant is with unprotected intercourse (penetration and ejaculation). Now, in your case, if there was wet semen on your boyfriend's fingers when he fingered you, there was a good chance live sperm entered your vagina. But, I don't see a risk when you pulled up your jeans with semen on your hands.

All that you can do now is wait for your next period. If it is late by at least seven days, test for pregnancy. You can consider an early response test, which I think you can test five days before the day of your expected period.

Regards,
Maryann
