Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for coming to us for help.

This clear fluid might have been pre ejaculate fluid. Pre ejaculate fluid precedes ejaculation but to my knowledge does not occur after. As we know semen is cloudy or kind of milky in color.

This fluid which you got on your finger potentially contained sperm, which you then introduced into your girlfriend's vagina.

If this happened either five days before ovulation or on the day she ovulated, there was a risk for her to become pregnant.

As far as taking an ECP, that would work only if she had not yet ovulated. Emergency contraceptives prevent pregnancy by preventing ovulation.

You and your girlfriend need to sort out where she is in her menstrual cycle to know whether an ECP is worth taking.

Regards,
Maryann
