Guide

Hello Eskay98,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for reaching out to us for advise.

With a 24 day menstrual cycle, your last period should have started on September 27. Is that correct?

Ovulation happens mid cycle. The first day of your period is day one. The first day of your next period is the last day of that menstrual cycle. You should have been ovulating around day 12 or October 8.

A released egg lives about 24 hours. Sperm can live between three to five days in the woman's reproductive tract.

Having unprotected sex without ejaculation and then with a condom on October 14 may not have caused you to become pregnant.

The withdrawal method is not 100% effective in preventing pregnancy.

You can wait and see if your period starts in the next few days. Or, take an early response pregnancy test. For the most accurate result, test in the morning. Use the urine when you first wake up and use the bathroom.

Keep us posted,
Maryann
