Children develop friendships and a sense of comfort that can be disrupted when forced to leave their current school. In cases, such as the family relocates, it is inevitable. But, the change can be traumatic for some children.
Unless there are problems at the school that have a negative impact on the child, there would be no need for a change. Again, it is a personal matter for the parents and child.
