Postinor 2 works well after unprotected sex but is supposed to be used only in emergencies, not as a regular birth control. If taken before ovulation, it may delay the release of the egg.
If taken after ovulation, it may interfere with the transport of eggs and sperm. You will know that you did not become pregnant once you have bleeding or your next period. Here is a link for birth control options I hope you will find one right for you.
