Hello ravis,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.

It is a bit difficult to determine what this is over the internet. It is possible that during your first intercourse, there was perforation of your hymen, which caused bleeding and noticeable tissue.
The hymen can be stretched open the first time a girl has vaginal sex, which might cause some pain or bleeding.

The hymen is a thin membrane that surrounds the opening to the vagina. Hymens can come in different shapes. The most common hymen in young girls is shaped like a half moon. This shape allows menstrual blood to flow out of a girl’s vagina.

ravis, consider scheduling an appointment with a gynecologist to have this examined. Now, that you are sexually active, it would be a good time to discuss birth control options.

Regards,
Maryann
