Did you have withdrawal bleeding after finishing the last pack of birth control pills?
The concern is you missed three days of active pills. Add that to seven days of no active pills during the placebo week. In total, you have not had an active pill for 10 days. This sets up the risk for ovulation. Having unprotected intercourse during ovulation leads to pregnancy.
Before you take a dose today, contact your gynecologist's office. Explain what has happened and follow your doctor's advice. Please let us know what you are told.
