We cannot diagnose you of course, but it's never normal for your period to just stop. Did the doctor do a pelvic exam? If not, I would mention this to your (new) doctor and ask that it be done. Blood work should be done also, and perhaps even an ultrasound. It's concerning that you are having sharp pains in your ovary, accompanied by bloating and indigestion. I'm glad you are seeing another doctor. You need to find out exactly what is going on. Keep us updated.
