If you don't want to get pregnant, don't have unprotected sex unless you have a long term partner who has great control and is trustworthy to not ejaculate near you. If the man you had sex with said he didn't ejaculate then I'm sure he didn't.
I'm not sure what you mean by asking what happens next - nothing happens, if there was no ejaculation. Use condoms.
