HDL (High-Density Lipoprotein) is Cholesterol, which is often referred to as good cholesterol. The higher the HDL Cholesterol the better. Generally, HDL Cholesterol levels of 60 mg/dL or more are considered good. HDL Cholesterol levels of less than 40 mg/dL are not at desirable levels.
